5. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Eden Network is built and hosted using the Wix platform.

Wix and technologies used to operate Eden Network may place cookies or use similar technologies on your browser or device.

Cookies are small data files that websites and online services use for purposes such as maintaining sessions, remembering preferences, authenticating users, maintaining security, and understanding service performance.

Cookies and similar technologies used in connection with Eden Network may include the following categories.

Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are used for functions necessary to operate the Services, including security, authentication, network management, fraud prevention, account access, and other core functionality.

Because these technologies are necessary to provide requested functionality, they may operate without optional cookie consent where permitted by applicable law.

Functional Cookies

Functional technologies may support enhanced site functionality, preferences, integrations, or other features.

Analytics Cookies

Wix and related technologies may provide analytics that help us understand matters such as site traffic, usage, performance, and how visitors interact with Eden Network.

Where required, non-essential analytics technologies are activated only after appropriate consent.

Marketing and Advertising Technologies

Eden Network does not currently add or use third-party advertising pixels or behavioral-advertising tracking tools for targeted advertising.

For example, Eden Network does not currently intentionally deploy tools such as the Meta Pixel or Google Ads conversion tracking for behavioral advertising.

If we materially change these practices in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, obtain appropriate consent or provide applicable opt-out rights.

Managing Cookie Preferences

Where available, you may use the cookie consent and privacy controls displayed on Eden Network to accept, reject, or modify your preferences concerning non-essential cookies.

You may also configure your browser to block or delete certain cookies. Blocking cookies may affect the operation of some site features.

6. WIX AND OUR TECHNOLOGY PROVIDERS

Eden Network uses Wix to host and operate portions of the Services.

As a result, information may be stored or processed through Wix's infrastructure and systems used to provide hosting, authentication, databases, analytics, security, payment-related functionality, communications, and other website services.

We may also use additional service providers when reasonably necessary to operate Eden Network.

Those providers may process information on our behalf or, in some circumstances, under their own applicable privacy terms.

7. HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not disclose personal information merely because it has value to another company.

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances.

Service Providers

We may provide information to service providers that assist us with functions such as:

  • website hosting;

  • cloud infrastructure;

  • databases;

If you participate in a church, ministry, or organization through Eden Network, information may be accessible to authorized leaders, administrators, staff, volunteers, members, or other participants depending on the feature, organization settings, your role, and applicable permissions.

At Your Direction

We may disclose information when you request, authorize, or intentionally initiate the disclosure.

Legal, Security, and Safety Purposes

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to:

  • comply with applicable law or legal process;

  • respond to lawful requests from governmental authorities;

  • investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our policies;

  • protect Eden Network, our users, organizations, or others;

  • prevent or address unlawful activity; or

  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Business or Organizational Transactions

If Back 2 Eden, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, transfer of operations, or similar transaction, information may be transferred or disclosed as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

8. SALE, SHARING, AND TARGETED ADVERTISING

Eden Network does not currently sell personal information for monetary compensation.

Eden Network also does not currently intentionally use personal information for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising through advertising pixels added by Eden Network.

Some privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” more broadly than their ordinary meanings.

If our practices change in a way that creates additional legal rights, we will provide applicable notices and opt-out mechanisms as required by law.

9. MEMBER AND ORGANIZATIONAL VISIBILITY

Eden Network is a network designed in part to connect churches, ministries, organizations, leaders, and members.

Some information you provide may therefore be visible to other people.

Visibility may depend on:

  • the feature being used;

  • your account settings;

  • organization settings;

  • church or ministry membership;

  • your role;

  • permissions established by an organization; and

  • choices made when information is submitted.

Information intentionally submitted to a publicly accessible area may be visible to the public.

Do not post information in a public or shared area unless you are comfortable with the intended audience seeing it.

10. USER-GENERATED CONTENT

Eden Network may allow users to submit profiles, photographs, announcements, events, descriptions, messages, ministry information, and other content.

Depending on the feature and applicable permissions, this information may be visible to other users or the public.

You are responsible for considering the privacy and rights of others before submitting content or information concerning another person.

11. SENSITIVE INFORMATION

Information associated with churches and ministries can sometimes reveal personal or sensitive matters, including religious affiliation or participation.

Users should exercise particular care when submitting sensitive information.

Unless Eden Network expressly provides a feature designed for such information, you should not use Eden Network to store or transmit highly sensitive records such as:

  • Social Security numbers;

  • complete financial account credentials;

  • detailed medical records;

  • confidential counseling records;

  • confidential pastoral counseling records;

  • safeguarding or abuse-investigation files; or

  • other information requiring specialized security or regulatory treatment.

12. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services and accomplish the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Factors affecting retention may include:

  • the nature of the information;

  • account status;

  • subscription status;

  • the purposes for which information was collected;

  • contractual requirements;

  • security and fraud-prevention needs;

  • dispute resolution;

  • recordkeeping requirements; and

  • applicable law.

We may retain certain information after an account is closed when reasonably necessary or legally permitted.

Information may also remain temporarily in backups or security systems.

Information previously shared with an independent church, ministry, organization, or another user may remain in records controlled by that party.

13. DATA SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.

We also rely on security measures provided by technology and infrastructure providers supporting Eden Network.

No online service, database, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and should contact us promptly at support@edennetwork.co if you believe your account has been compromised.

14. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES

Depending on where you reside and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information.

Those rights may include the ability to request:

  • confirmation that we process personal information about you;

  • access to certain personal information;

  • correction of inaccurate personal information;

  • deletion of certain personal information;

  • a portable copy of certain personal information;

  • information concerning categories of personal information we process;

  • information concerning certain disclosures;

  • withdrawal of consent where processing depends on consent;

  • restriction of certain processing;

  • an opt-out from certain sales or sharing of personal information;

  • an opt-out from certain targeted advertising; or

  • limitation of certain uses of sensitive personal information.

These rights vary by jurisdiction and are subject to legal exceptions.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you because you exercise an applicable privacy right.

To submit a privacy request, email:

support@edennetwork.co

Please identify your request as a Privacy Request and provide enough information for us to understand the request and reasonably verify your identity.

15. CALIFORNIA AND OTHER U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS

Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws.

Depending on whether a particular law applies to Eden Network and to the individual or processing activity involved, these rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, and the ability to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or other specified processing.

Where required by applicable law, we will honor recognized privacy preference signals and requests submitted through authorized agents, subject to legally permitted verification.

Because Eden Network does not currently intentionally sell personal information for monetary compensation or use Eden-added advertising pixels for cross-context behavioral advertising, certain opt-out rights may not presently apply to our activities.

If our practices change, we will update our disclosures and provide legally required controls.

16. EMAIL AND SERVICE COMMUNICATIONS

We may send communications necessary to provide Eden Network, including:

  • account notices;

  • security alerts;

  • transaction confirmations;

  • subscription information;

  • event-related notices;

  • administrative messages; and

  • important changes affecting the Services.

We may also send newsletters, announcements, product updates, ministry-related communications, or promotional messages where permitted by law.

Eligible marketing emails will provide an unsubscribe method.

Unsubscribing from promotional email does not prevent us from sending necessary transactional, security, subscription, or account-related communications.

17. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Eden Network accounts are restricted to individuals 18 years of age or older.

We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to create Eden Network accounts.

If you believe a person under 18 has created an account or directly provided personal information through an account in violation of this policy, please contact us at support@edennetwork.co.

As described above, an authorized adult, church, ministry, or organization may in some circumstances submit information relating to a minor. The submitting party is responsible for ensuring that it has appropriate authority and complies with applicable law.

18. INTERNATIONAL USERS

Eden Network is operated by a Missouri company in the United States.

Individuals outside the United States may access the Services.

Personal information may therefore be processed or stored in the United States or other jurisdictions in which our service providers operate.

Where applicable law imposes requirements concerning international transfers of personal information, we will take appropriate measures required by that law.

19. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES

Eden Network may link to or integrate with third-party websites, payment providers, social platforms, maps, video services, or other independent services.

We do not control the privacy practices of independent third parties.

When you leave Eden Network or intentionally interact with an independent third-party service, that provider's terms and privacy practices may apply.

We encourage you to review those policies before providing personal information.

20. ACCOUNT CLOSURE AND DELETION REQUESTS

You may request closure of your Eden Network account by using available account features or contacting support@edennetwork.co.

Account closure does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of every record associated with the account.

We may retain information when reasonably necessary for:

  • transactions;

  • subscription records;

  • legal compliance;

  • fraud prevention;

  • security;

  • dispute resolution;

  • enforcement of agreements; or

  • other legitimate purposes permitted by law.

You may separately request deletion of eligible personal information by contacting us.

21. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy as Eden Network, our technology, our service providers, or applicable laws change.

When we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the “Last Updated” date.

If we make a material change to how we handle personal information, we may provide additional notice or request renewed consent where appropriate or legally required.
